New Beginnings for this Spring!

But first… there’s something I’d like to share

Before we get into how I can help you, let me share a bit about how I’ve recently had to help myself. Several months ago I was diagnosed with Cancer. Yes, I was surprised – anyone unfortunate enough to face Cancer for the first time is. After the shock passed, I did the only thing I know how to do, take it on! On March 15th the Cancer was surgically removed from my body. Everything looks good so far, and after the surgery it was time to heal, and healing is what I’ve been working on. Healing is one of the themes in this newsletter. I’d like to share what’s worked for me, and what might work for you.

Now then. Let’s get on with it!

Because I practice what I preach, I was fortunate to have a quick recovery. Everything that I teach you, I do myself; yoga, stretching, strength training, myofascial rolling and mobility exercises, all of these activities, done consistently, gave me the resiliency and health I needed to get well quickly. And let me not forget mentioning my valued time outdoors getting both the cardio training I love, and the total joy connected to being in nature. These self care modalities were vital in my return to health. I also receive hands on chiropractic and massage care once a month, and I have no doubt this combination is, and was the key to my success.

I was also surprised at how much vitality it took, for my body to heal herself. I was exhausted the first three weeks post surgery, and as most of you know, I’m not a low energy kind of gal. It was challenging to relax and take it easy but I had no choice in the matter. And I listened to my body. I let my wounds heal. I took in and received so much love and support from friends, family, and you my patients. Healing is a journey.

I am committed to sharing joy, self-inquiry, the process of change, and turning challenges into opportunities.
